​Shadow detail, colour, contrast and flare

With the sun in the frame. How does the 35mm f1.4 Zeiss Milvus cope and how does it compare to the 50mm f1.8G Nikon which is a great lens but costs a lot less. The two similar shots were taken within a minute of each other, number 1 and 3. I expected to see a difference but not quite so dramatic.

Next - Shadow detail and contrast.
Two shots taken at the same time - first with 35mm f1.4 Zeiss Milvus then the Nikon 45mm pc/e. The difference is small but the Milvus wins.
